About NumSet
What is NumSet?
NumSet is a working model of equality economics.
Equality economics means that the issuance is distributed equally.
The Rules
One Personal account per person.
Be good.
Issuance
When points are created the transaction is called an “Issuance” or “Balancing Issuance”.
Negative allowance
Personal accounts can have a balance below 0, to a limit. This limit is called the Negative allowance.
Redistribution
Points received from Heroic mode transactions are equally redistributed, by the Recycling utility, to each Personal account.
Profile
When a new account is created the profile default is Private. Profiles may be changed to public and added to the NumSet Directory in the Edit account settings on the Account overview page.
Personal account
A Personal account can receive the issuance, the negative allowance, and redistributions. A person may have only one Personal account.
Utility account
A Utility account does not receive the issuance, the negative allowance, or redistributions. A person may have multiple Utility accounts.
Points Send
The Points Send form can be used to schedule transactions and add notes, in addition to the basic Points Send functions found on the Account overview page.
Points Request
The Points Request form creates a request for points module, and a notification that is emailed to the Recipient requesting points to be transferred.
Analog code
Every account is assigned a six-character Analog code on registration. This code is used to validate transactions between the accounts and the admins in the event that there is no electrical power.
Advanced optional features
Time Proper:
Time Proper is the NumSet “Equal Compensation” feature. It pegs a specific amount of time to a specific number of points. This feature allows accounts who prefer open trade to transact seamlessly with accounts who prefer equal compensation.
Time Proper Send
The Time Proper Send form calculates transactions in time in addition to points.
Time Proper Request:
The Time Proper Request form creates a request module, and a notification that is emailed to the Recipient requesting a Time Proper transaction.
Achievements:
To get on the leaderboard all of the achievements located on the Profile page must be lit.
Heroic Mode:
Heroic Mode transfers a percentage of each transaction to the Recycling utility. It triggers the achievement system, and it is the primary measure of the leaderboard.
Leaderboard:
The leaderboard calculates the Heroic mode and Time Proper transactions of accounts that have accomplished all of the achievements.
How to initiate a transaction
Me: I’d like to do (X) for you in exchange for NumSet points.
You: What are NumSet points?
Me: They are free points you get from NumSet.Net
You: What do I have to do?
Me: Register an account, give me your account number, I’ll send you a transaction request, you’ll click send.
You: That’s it?
Me: Yes.
Transaction considerations
I don’t know and I don’t care:
Click “Send/Cancel” when you receive a transaction request.
I need to complete a transaction:
Give your account number to the person requesting points from you. Click send when you receive the transaction request.
I just want to try it:
Enter “3” in the recipient field, and “Demo” in the description field. Click send.
I want to send points as a gift:
Type GOA in the description field. GOA stands for (Gesture of Appreciation).
I want to create a recurring event, schedule, or add notes to a transaction:
Use the “Points Send” page, not the Account overview page.
I want to request points from another account:
Use the “Points Request” page.
